I think this is a good image for this reading especially when thought of as a bandage covers a pain. The reading really focused on how the comfort women could never truly heal because their suffering was not acknowledged. It is like covering a poisoned wound without treating it. It looks like it is healing but really the poison is left to fester and spread.
